§ 4-35. Proper care, maintenance and destruction of impounded animals.

(a)

Any animal impounded in a county shelter shall be given proper and humane care and maintenance.

(b)

Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, any animal destroyed while impounded in a county shelter shall be destroyed pursuant to methods outlined in A.R.S. § 11-1021.
