§ 34-213. Intent and purpose.
(a)
A.R.S. § 11-251.05(A)(1) allows the county board of supervisors to adopt ordinances necessary or proper to carry out the duties, responsibilities and functions of the county.
(b)
A.R.S. § 11-251.05(A)(1) allows the county board of supervisors to make and enforce regulations not in conflict with general law.
(c)
A.R.S. § 49-106 allows local governing bodies to adopt ordinances and rules within their respective jurisdictions if those ordinances and rules do not conflict with state law and are equal to or more restrictive than the rules of the state department of environmental quality.
(d)
The county board of supervisors recognizes the need for increased use of reclaimed water as relates to future development and economic growth in the county.
(e)
The county board of supervisors is committed to safeguarding the health of the citizens of the county by ensuring access to a continued and adequate supply of fresh water for human consumption.
