§ 34-46. Applications for water allocations.

Applications for water allocations shall be made to the community development department on a form supplied by the community development director of the City of Bullhead City. Allocations shall be based upon the principle of "first come, first served." The community development department of the City of Bullhead City shall collect an application fee to be used solely for the purpose of defraying the costs of administering the provisions of this division and ensuring strict compliance with all terms and conditions of the master contract. The schedule of fees shall be based upon the number of multifamily apartment units or recreational vehicle park spaces requiring an allocation and shall be fixed by resolution of the city council. Following receipt of an application for a water allocation, the community development director of the City of Bullhead City shall cause a letter to be issued to the state department of water resources which shall indicate whether or not water is available to serve the proposed development.
