§ 30-355. Preservation.

  • The following specific areas should be preserved as undeveloped open space, to the extent consistent with the reasonable utilization of the land in the proposed subdivision as a whole, and in accordance with applicable state or local regulations:

    (1)

    Unique and/or fragile areas, including wetlands as defined in section 404 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972, and delineated on wetland maps prepared by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, field verified by on-site inspection.

    (2)

    Lands in floodplain areas which are designated as floodways.

    (3)

    Historically significant structures and sites, as designated by appropriate federal, state, or local regulations.
