§ 28-118. Collection required.

(a)

Where refuse collection service is available, the following refuse shall be required to be collected: garbage, ashes, rubbish, and small dead animals which do not exceed 75 pounds in weight.

(b)

The following refuse is not considered acceptable for collection but may be collected at the discretion of the collection agency or private refuse hauler where special facilities or equipment required for the collection and disposal of such wastes are provided:

(1)

Dangerous materials or substances, such as poisons, acids, caustics, infected materials, radioactive materials, and explosives.

(2)

Materials resulting from the repair, excavation, or construction of buildings and structures.

(3)

Solid wastes resulting from industrial processes.

(4)

Animals exceeding 75 pounds in weight, condemned animals, animals from a slaughterhouse, or other animals normally considered industrial waste.

Manure.
