§ 28-117. Inspections.

(a)

Regular inspections must be conducted at least once per year. Representatives of the department shall make such inspections of any premises, container, process, equipment, or vehicle used for collection, storage, transportation, disposal, reclamation of refuse as are necessary to ensure compliance with these regulations.

(b)

The department shall require a follow-up inspection, with applicable fees, when the following items are found during a regular inspection of the facility/vehicle:

(1)

No current, up-to-date valid operating permit (this shall require the vehicle to cease operations and fees will be assessed for operating without a valid operating permit).

(2)

The vehicle container is not able to be covered, watertight or easily cleanable.

(3)

The vehicle is causing the breeding of vectors due to lack of proper maintenance/sanitation.
