§ 4-4. Exemption of cities and towns.

(a)

The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to incorporated cities or towns that impose a license fee and vaccination of animals by ordinance, provided that such ordinance is equal to or more stringent than the provisions of this chapter.

(b)

The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to cities or towns which regulate the running at large of animals in the city or town by ordinance, provided that such ordinance is equal to or more stringent than the provisions of this chapter.
