§ 30-105. Purpose.

  • A preliminary plat is made for the purpose of depicting the design of a proposed subdivision and showing any existing conditions in and around it. The preliminary plat shall be in sufficient detail to convey the applicant's ideas and intentions in platting the proposed subdivision. It shall contain a written description of the existing conditions on the project site and the necessary drawings and sketches, as required by this division, to convey the applicant's plan of development.

    The preliminary plat shall depict at least the minimum standards for design and the requirements for construction of public improvements, as set forth by these regulations and other county specifications

    (2)

    If during processing, significant deviations from the design and concept presented at the pre-application meeting, or deficiencies from these regulations are noted, the director shall notify the applicant or authorized representative in writing of any appropriate action necessary to be taken for the continued review of the plan or possible cancellation of the process.
