§ 28-123. Disposal; general.

(a)

All refuse shall be disposed of by a method or methods included in Arizona Administrative Code R18-13-312 and shall include rodent, insect, and nuisance control at the place or places of disposal. Approval must be obtained from the department for all new disposal sites and any change in the method of disposal prior to use.

(b)

Carcasses of large dead animals shall be buried or cremated, unless satisfactory arrangements have been made for disposal by rendering or other approved methods.

(c)

Manure shall be disposed of by sanitary landfill, composting, incineration, or used as fertilizer in such a manner as not to create insect breeding or a nuisance.
