§ 22-21. Curfew for Pebble Lake Tract 1189.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of 18 years of age remain in or upon any street, alley or public place within the boundaries of Pebble Lake Tract 1189, Mohave Valley, Arizona, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday, unless such person is accompanied by a parent, guardian or person having legal custody of such minor. A minor is not violating a curfew if the minor is accompanied by a parent, a guardian or an adult having supervisorial custody, is on an emergency errand or has been specifically directed to the location on reasonable, legitimate business or some other activity by the parent, guardian or adult having supervisorial custody.

    (b)

    It is unlawful for any parent, guardian or other person having the legal care and custody of any person under the age of 18 years to allow, suffer or permit such child to remain upon any of the streets, alleys or public places within the boundaries of Pebble Lake Tract 1189, located in Mohave Valley, Arizona, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

    (c)

    A violation of the section shall be a petty offense and punishable by a fine not to exceed the fine for a petty offense for violation of such ordinances.

    (d)

    In the event that a minor subject to this article is required for purposes of employment to be upon the streets, alleys or public ways during the curfew hours, he shall have in his possession proof of such employment and written permission from his parent, legal guardian or custodian.
