§ 20-1. Library cards.
(a)
All persons must have a library card to take books or materials from the library.
(b)
Residents will be issued a library card without charge. Nonresidents will pay an annual fee of $10.00.
(c)
Applicants for a resident library card, must show one of the following:
(1)
A valid state driver's license with a county address.
(2)
A state identification card issued by the county vehicle division of the state department of transportation.
(3)
A military I.D. card showing current active service.
(4)
A tax receipt showing payment of property tax in the county.
(5)
Other proof which may be accepted by the county librarian.
(d)
All other applicants will be considered nonresidents.
(e)
All applicants:
(1)
Must apply in person for a library card.
(2)
Applicants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
