§ 18-58. Designation of the floodplain administrator.

A professional engineer, appointed by action of the floodplain board, shall serve as the floodplain administrator to administer, implement, and enforce this article, including granting or denying of development permits in accordance with the provisions of this article and other applicable laws. In addition, the floodplain board may make separate appointments for the general manager and for the chief engineer as prescribed by A.R.S. § 48-3603(1).
